Fixed photo quotes
Get a Fixed Locksmith Quote From a Photo — Before We Set Off
Send us a clear photo of the lock, door or safe on WhatsApp, your postcode and what has happened. We confirm the job and price in writing before dispatch.
Our fixed quote guarantee
100% fixed for the agreed scope. The price quoted for the job shown/described is the price you pay.
If the job on site is materially different from what was shown or described, we stop and explain the difference before any extra work or cost is agreed. If you ask for extra work or parts, we price them and agree them with you first. No surprise extras, and no price changes after arrival for the same agreed job.
How it works
- 01
Send photos
Send photos, your postcode and the problem by WhatsApp.
- 02
Get a written quote
We identify the likely lock and job and confirm a fixed quote in writing.
- 03
Approve and we attend
You approve it; we attend and complete the agreed work for that quoted price.
What's in your written quote
Your quote, sent by WhatsApp or text, says what the job is and what's included: the call-out, the labour and any parts we've quoted for (for example a named anti-snap cylinder). Anything not listed isn't assumed — if it's needed, we agree it with you first.
What to photograph
- The whole door (or the whole front of the safe)
- A close-up of the keyhole, cylinder or handle
- The edge of the door where the lock sits, if you can see it safely
- Any broken key or damaged area
- Any brand or model markings on the lock
Please don't take anything apart — normal photos from outside are enough.
How to avoid locksmith price scams
Warning signs to look out for when you call any locksmith — and what we do instead.
Very low "from £XX" adverts with no full price for your job.
We quote the full price for your specific job, in writing, before we travel.
Refusing to give a written price before dispatch, even when the job can be identified.
Send photos on WhatsApp and we confirm the price by WhatsApp or text.
A vague "call-out fee" that doesn't include any labour.
Our quote states what's included — call-out, labour and any quoted parts.
Drilling the lock straight away without explaining other options.
We try non-destructive methods first and explain before any drilling.
Extra charges added on the day without your approval.
If the job is different, we stop and agree a new price before doing anything extra.
Not telling you which parts are being fitted.
We tell you the parts we're fitting, and the quote names them.
No clear business name, phone number or contact details.

Questions about our fixed quotes
Can you quote from a photo?
In most cases, yes. A clear photo of the lock and door, your postcode and a short description of what's happened usually let us identify the lock and the job, so we can give you a fixed price before anyone travels. If a photo isn't enough to be sure, we'll tell you and explain what we'd need to check.
What photos should I send?
The whole door (or safe front), a close-up of the keyhole, cylinder or handle, the edge of the door where the lock sits if you can see it safely, any broken key or damage, and any brand or model markings on the lock. You don't need to take anything apart.
Is the quote really fixed?
Yes, for the agreed scope. The price we quote for the job shown and described is the price you pay. It doesn't go up after we arrive for that same job.
What if the lock turns out to be different?
If the job on site is materially different from what the photos and description showed, we stop and explain the difference before doing anything extra. You then decide whether to go ahead at a new agreed price. Nothing extra is done or charged without your approval.
Are parts included?
Your written quote states exactly what's included — the call-out, labour and any parts we've quoted for, such as a specific cylinder. If you ask for extra parts or upgrades on the day, we price those separately and agree them with you first.
Do you charge a call-out fee on top?
No. If your quote includes the call-out, that's already in the price. We don't add a separate call-out charge on arrival.
Can you quote at night?
Yes. WhatsApp and the phone are answered 24/7, so you can get a quote at any hour.
Can you quote a safe lock from a photo?
Often, yes, if the safe's make and lock type are visible. Some safe jobs can only be confirmed on inspection; if so, we'll say so before you agree to anything.
Do I have to accept the quote?
No. A quote is free and there's no obligation. Nothing is booked until you say yes.
